Rapid Prototyping Services
Creatingway offers more rapid prototyping services including stereolithography (SLA), selective laser sintering (SLS), and CNC machining parts service. We are the pride of our product quality, delivering on-time and professional engineering team support in fluent English communication with each other.
Additional CNC Machining Prototype
CNC machining prototype process to machining stronger and precise parts including plastic and metal. For more CNC machining process in detail, you can view our CNC machining parts.
Plastic CNC machining prototype material such as Nylon, PC, PMMA, POM, PP, and UPE, etc.
Metal materials are the same as CNC machining parts such as Stainless steel, Copper, Bronze, Aluminum, etc.
We offer secondary machining processes such as drilling, polishing, welding, etc and finishing service including anodizing, powering, etc to make the prototype aesthetic as you like.
SLA Prototype:
SLA (Stereolithography) is an additive technology that uses UV light to cure a photopolymer, layer to layer stacking to one plastic solid with good resolution. SLA parts are accurate and smooth surface finishing available, most of SLA parts are not stronger enough, but it can be used for the production of structural parts as master mold building purposed or models.
Build Volume: 450x450x350mm
Pericison tolerance: ± 0.1mm
Materials: Accura ABS resin, PC, etc, others as requested.
Advantage of SLA process: accuracy, design flexibility
Disadvantage of SLA process: material flexibility, material costs, production speed

SLS Prototype
SLS ( Selective Laser Sintering) is similar to the SLA process, SLS uses a laser fusing or sintering a powdered material PA or PA+GF or Alloy via highly accurate computer-controlled laser. Using a laser as the power source to sinter powdered material it binds the material together to create a solid structure. It is convenient as well as a cost-effective way to make prototypes as well as finished products. The parts need little post-process finishing and are suitable for a wide range of applications.
Advantage of SLS process: accuracy, design flexibility, material flexibility, material cost
The disadvantage of SLS: manufacturing costs, production speed
Building size: 330x280x420mm
Precision tolerance: ±0.1mm
Materials: PA12 (polyamide), PA12+GF, PA12+Alloy, others as requested.
SLA and SLA Prototyping Tolerances
SLA prototype: Resolution of SLA rapid prototyping varies from 0.05mm to 0.15mm with the industry average tolerance around 0.1mm.
SLS prototype: similar SLA tolerance.
If a customer needs a tight tolerance in a particular area, they can specify this in a 2D PDF, and we will machine or finish the part to suit.

Vacuum Casting Service
We offer a complete production solution from creating master silicon mold to casting products based on your CAD drawings. We not only provide high-quality cast parts we also offer a series of finishing services includes polishing, painting, silk-screen, sanding, and more. We’ll help you create products for various purposes such as product design verification, showroom, and engineering date testing and low-volume production, and more.
-
Tolerances
The finished size of vacuum casting parts main depends on the accuracy of the master silicon mold, and the part’s construction, and the type of casting product materials used. Usually, the shrinkage rate is around 0.1-0.15%. But we are always making them more precise as expected.
-
Materials
Currently, most vacuum casting product materials are available includes ABS, PC, Rubber, and more based on your requirement. They can be produced with different surface textures. For example, PC material has translucent and completely transparent. Based on different options, we use after-finishing machined to meet your expectations.

Secondary Machining Process
Creatingway offers more secondary finishing service to meet customers’ needs like painting, silk-screen, etc in order to make the product aesthetic as customers’ needs, and provide more good solutions for good quality. please kindly visit our product finishing service in detail.
Please kindly contact us now if you have special requests for your product finishing process.

Role of Rapid Prototyping in Auto Research and Development
Rapid prototyping is a modern method of manufacturing that entails the use of CAD, CAM, CNC, and laser technology. In addition, it incorporates the use of new material tech and precision servo drive tech in product development. In CNC we utilize a program that controls automated machine tools. CNC as a rapid prototyping method combines advanced programs like CAD and CAM to come up with a 3D image. The CNC machine then proceeds to cut the workpiece into the programmed shape and size. It differs from 3D printing which is an additive method while the former is subtractive. Read more…
Top Benefits of a Quality CNC Prototype Manufacturing
Many industries rely on precision, efficiency, and speed in making parts. CNC prototyping provides this power. It makes the process automatic with the help of computer coding such as CAM software instead of manually controlling the machines. It thus ensures the achievement of your business specifications as the result. CNC prototyping allows a digital design to turn into a physical version. Instead of devoting time and precious resources to drawing conceptual designs, why not make them real. Read more…

Guide to Rapid Prototyping Through Urethane Molding
Urethane molding is a rapid prototyping method we use to produce soft rubber parts. We normally cannot use other methods like CNC machining in producing these parts. This method uses a silicon mold and a 3D printed master pattern. It allows us to produce top-notch products of up to 30 inches in size. Urethane molding slightly varies in the following way. It uses a soft silicone tool, unlike the other process that uses a hard tool. Read more…
